Grape: Pinot Noir

Soil: Kimmeridgian limestone - single vineyard

Viticulture: Organic since 2006, certified in 2010

Winemaking: fermented in tank. Zero Dosage. Cultivated native yeasts for both 1st and 2nd fermentation

Aging: *If not stated the minimum aging requirements for a NV champagne is 15 months with 12 of those months on the lees.

Tasting Notes: brioche, green apple, lemon, white mushroom

For Fun: Marie-Courtin was named for Dominique’s great-grandmother, who worked the vineyard and the land during the first world war.  The “Resonance” cuvée is named for “the balancing energies of earth and sky that affect the creation of a wine from its surrounding terroir.”
