Bar Diane opened in 2019, tucked down an alley in Portland's Northwest District.

It's an homage to the cosmopolitan café, Parisian drinking culture and the dinner party. The kind of place where one glass turns into an evening.

The wine list favors independent producers, old world delicacies and local gems. And like most things here it skews a little Frenchy, with an emphasis on spontaneous fermentation, volcanic soils and bubbles. We think of it as technique, terroir and je ne sais quoi.

We take cocktails equally seriously. Spritzes, apéritifs, a Vieux Carré, a proper martini. This place was founded by a former bartender after all.

Our kitchen runs nightly, with a clever and playful approach to drinking snacks and the more substantial. Sustainable ingredients, global techniques, something good to eat.

But most of all, we look forward to spending the evening with you.
